We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2020, at the age of 81, Kay Frances Hammett Seidenstricker of Chester, South Carolina, born in Pickens, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cleo Hammett and Mary Frances Jones Hammett. She is survived by: her husband John Albert Seidenstricker; her children, Lynn Etters of Chester, SC and John C. Seidenstricker (Jane) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her grandchildren, Samuel, Thomas Seidenstricker, Justin and Hunter Etters; and her siblings, Robert Hammett (Angie) of Charlotte, NC, Teddy Hammett (Linda) of Anderson, SC, Gary Hammett of Sandy Springs, SC and Rose Ann Gurley (John) of Sandy Springs, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the impact of Covid-19, there will be a 10:00 AM drive-up memorial service, Friday, July 3, 2020, at New Life Baptist Church, 1044 Columbia Rd., Chester, SC.
