Laurie Ann Milatz-Atkinson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurie Ann Milatz-Atkinson (Chester, South Carolina), who passed away on March 3, 2018 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Therese Milatz (Oakie) and Edward Louis Milatz; and her brother Eric James Milatz. She is survived by: her husband Scott Atkinson; her sons, Benjamin Heath Atkinson and Nicholas Miller Atkinson; and her siblings, Paula Despars, Chuck Despars of DuPont, Martin Milatz, Elizabeth Milatz of Fowlerville, Steven Milatz, Angela Milatz of Spokane, Greta Vega, Ken Vega of Denver, Betsy Marie and John Stege of Norman. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Laurie requested that donations be made in memory of her to the Children's Attention Home, P.O. Box 2912, Rock Hill, SC 29732; St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 110 West End St., Chester, SC 29706; or St. Gregory's Abbey, 1900 West MacArthur St., Shawnee, OK 74804.
