Phillippi of Chester, South Carolina, born in Chaffee, New York, who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Phillippi and Beatrice Phillippi (Adams); his wife Gail E. Phillippi (Opferbeck); and his siblings, William Phillippi (Evelyn) and Shirley Evans (Howard).
He is survived by: his children, Mark I. Phillippi (Flora Rose) of Franklinville, Michelle Phillippi-Moran (Daniel) of Rock Hill, SC, Melissa G. Levitsky (Sherwood) of Chester, SC and Steve Swinarski (Phyllis) of Reidsville, NC; his siblings, Marianne Harbeck (late Floyd) of Farmersville, Cora Krueger (Ed) of Chaffee, Arlene Wagner (late Harold) of Delevan, Gale Phillippi (Diane) of Tempe, AZ and June Phillippi of Chaffee; and his grandchildren, Amanda Phillippi, Jessica Brodie, Luke Phillippi, Steve Swinarski, Jr. and McKenzi Cragg. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
