It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Melton Friendly of Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Melton and Leola Love Melton; her husband Harold Friendly; and her son William Harold "Billy" Friendly. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Sells (Tim) of Chester, SC and Norman Friendly of Chester, SC; her granddaughters, Jessica Sells Rawls (Jonathan) of Chester, SC and Kathryn Marie Deter (Philip) of Irmo, SC; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Lily Kate, Bevan and Eliza Jo; and her sisters, Margaret Mobley and Dot Wattenbarger (Garland) of Chester, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
