She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Griggs, Sr.; her parents, William Henry Bennett, Sr. and Fannie Chapman Bennett; and her siblings, William H. Bennett, Jr. and Patricia B. Hunter.
She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chuck" Griggs, Jr. and Jeannie Griggs of Edgemoor. She is also survived by her grand-dogs that she loved very much, Baby, Cisco and Brownie, several nieces and nephews.
