She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Eugene Hunter, Sr. and Rebecca Grace Moore Hunter; her son John Robert "Slugger" Kirkland, Jr.; her grandson Corey Ray Enix; and her son-in-law Donnie Enix.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Enix of Chester, SC and Wanda Patrick (Roger) of Chester, SC; her grandchildren, Crystal Stewart, Johnny Patrick, Tabitha Whitaker, Andrew Patrick, Leroy Patrick, Alicia Patrick and Stephen Patrick; and her siblings, Jesse Vernon Hunter of Chester, SC and Betty Hunter Wallace of Camden, SC. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
