With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Thomas of Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Thomas; her parents, James G. Hampton and Nora Elizabeth Hampton; and her siblings, Don, Gordon, Wayne Hampton, Naomi Williams and Hazel Wilkes.

She is survived by: her son Scott (Susan Thomas) of Chester; and her grandsons, Wyatt Grant Thomas of Chester and Gus Jennings Thomas of Chester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial in lieu of flowers be made to Agape Care of SC, 1639 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
