It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mother Lena Coleman Rogers (Chester, South Carolina), who passed away on February 1, 2020, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgia Coleman and Rueben Coleman; her husband Rev. Gordon A. Rogers; her siblings, Agnes Tucker, Eugene Thompson and Albert H. Coleman; her granddaughter Joy M. Lambe; her mother-in-law Mary Rogers; her siblings-in-law, Rev. Louis O. Rogers, Rev. Owen W. Rogers, Rev. Charles H. Rogers, John E. Rogers, Stephen S. Rogers, Tizelle Coleman and Nadine Rogers; her siblings' children, Marjorie Tucker, Lois Coleman, James Thompson and Albert Coleman, Jr.; and her great-nephew Robin Thompson.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Joy Lambe; her children, Marilyn G. Lambe (Harold) of Pembroke, Bermuda, Timothy G. Rogers (Marlen) of Stamford, CT, John A. Rogers (Barbara) of Pittsburgh, PA and Robert C. Rogers of Morristown, NJ; her grandchildren, Jonathan E. Lambe (Candice) of Pembroke, Deborah J. Rogers of Jackson, TN, Aubrea L. Rogers of Pittsburgh, PA, Khiana C. Rogers and Kendall A. Rogers of Morristown, NJ; her great grandchildren, Chauncy Goggins of Pittsburgh, PA, Arianna Allen of Pittsburgh, PA, Jasmine Allen of Pittsburgh, PA and Brooklyn Cobbs of Pittsburgh, PA; her adoptive daughter Geneva Jackson of Morristown, NJ; her sisters-in-law, Odessa Rogers of Parsippany, NJ, Doris Rogers of Lakewood, NJ, Velma Rogers and Lavenia Mason of Columbus, OH; her niece Vivian Norris of Bellevue, WA; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sharon L. Norris of Bellevue, WA, Jackie Davis of Orlando, FL, Jevon Thompson of Ledgewood, NJ and Ronnie Norris of Bellevue, WA.. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and relatives.
