Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Neil Lyles Roddey (Chester, South Carolina), who passed away at the age of 85, on May 20, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Marion Roddey and Mary Irene Hardin Roddey; his wife Joan Smith Roddey; and his brother Dale Roddey. He is survived by: his daughters, Kay Phillips (Don) of Mooresville, NC and Tracey McCarley (Turner) of Blackstock, SC; his grandchildren, Brent (Rebecca) of Concord, NC and Amy Smith (Tyler) of Mooresville, NC; his great grandchildren, Sawyer Smith, Tinsley Smith and Owen Phillips; and his grandmother Roberts (Harold) of Rock Hill, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
As a tribute to Mr. Roddey, the family has requested memorials be made to your local Hospice and Community Care.
