He was predeceased by: his parents, William Riley Lawson and Ruby Thomas Lawson; and his brother Gene Lawson. He is survived by: his daughter Rachael L. Meredith of Liberty, SC; his grandchildren, Tiffany Craig (Eric) of Rock Hill, E. J, Craig of Rock Hill, Dylan Meredith of Easley and Meagan Breland of Easley; his sister Fay Phillips of Rock Hill; and his sibling's children, C. J., Tyler, Billy Lawson and Christie Lawson of Ohio. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Harvest Time Ministries in Chester.
