He was predeceased by: his parents, Fitzhugh L. Maree and Daisy Ellis Maree; his daughter Wanda Maree Harris; and his siblings, Leona Wade, Billy and Lucian Maree.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Aldridge Maree; his daughters, Janice Smith and Sylvia Mobley; and his niece Anita Hinson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
