It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Bundy Adkins of Chester, South Carolina, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walker Adkins and Lillie Mae Kennedy Adkins; his wife Betty Lou Weaver Adkins; and his son Robert William "Bobby" Adkins. He is survived by: his son Kenneth Adkins of Charlotte, NC; his stepdaughters, Lou Wishert, Paula Chapman and Tena Templeton; his close friend Linda Hudson of Chester, SC; and his siblings, Louise Ashley of Chester, SC, Paul Adkins (Joyce) of Rock Hill, SC and William Adkins (Peggy) of Rock Hill, SC. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
