He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harris and Blanch Bridges Harris. He is survived by: his children, Steve Wade Harris, Jr. (Patricia) of Chester and Tina Porter (Mark) of Chester; his siblings, Robert Harris, Jr., Jerry Harris, Perry Harris, Leo Harris and Joan Hager; his grandchildren, Breah Harris, Kaitlyn Roof, Amber Davis, Brett Matthews and Ashley White; and his great grandchild Grayson Inman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggest memorials in lieu of flowers be made to either Wilksburg Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3137 Pinckney Road, Chester, SC 29706 or The National Kidney Foundation, 4819 Park Road Suite C, Charlotte, NC 28209.
