She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnny Marshall and Althea Tarlton Marshall; her brothers, Carson Marshall, Bill Marshall, Baxter Marshall, Hildreth Marshall, Dennis Marshall and BJ Marshall; and her grandmother Martha Tarlton.
She is survived by : her husband Leo Wilkes, Sr.; her children, Leo Wilkes Jr. (Nichele) of Matthews, NC, Leslie Chanel of Charlotte, NC and Tony J. Wilkes of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, Peggy Marshall Coit (Bo) of Cheraw, SC, Sylvester Marshall (Mildred) of Conway, SC and Dwight Marshall of Patrick, SC; and her siblings-in-law, James Wilkes (Marie) of Florence, SC, Herbert Wilkes (Joanne) of Florence, SC, Mary Wilkes of Patrick, SC, Willie Mae Wilkes of Patrick, SC and Barbara Wilkes of Patrick, SC. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
