He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edgar and Alice Joseph Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Brenda R. Kennedy; his children, Kevin Kennedy (Carolyn) of Simpsonville, SC, John Kennedy, Michael Kennedy of Winston Salem, NC and Judith Kennedy of High Point, NC; and his siblings, Carolyn Stewart of Burlington, NC, Steve "Bub" Kennedy (Teena) of League City, TX, Dianne Steele of Chesterfield, VA, Jack Kennedy (Phyllis) of Charlotte, NC and June Faulk of Charlotte, NC.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St Paul United Methodist Church (807 W Main St, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
