She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ray Grooms Sr. and Ola Lee Johnson Grooms; her husband Ronald L. "Ronnie" Turnage; and her brothers, Jimmy, Ellis and Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Rene T. Wallace (Paul Wallace IV) of Hartsville, SC and Byran Turnage (Lisa Turnage) of Summerfield, NC; her grandchildren, Landon Turnage, Brett Wallace and Reagan Wallace; her great grandchildren, Ava Turnage and Karson Turnage; and her siblings, Kathy Grooms of Chesterfield, SC, Vera Tolson (Lowell) of Anderson, SC and Otis Grooms of Chesterfield, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
