She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Bart and Loney Elizabeth Steen Short; her husband Parvin Franklin Eason; her grandson Thomas Christopher Holt; and her siblings, Lee Burt, Gary, James, Sam, Julius, Farris Short and Allie Short Hoffman.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty Ann Bolton; her granddaughter Cynthia Dawn Holt of Waxhaw, NC; her brother Jessie Ray Short of Lancaster, SC; her sisters-in-law, Betty Sue Short of Ruby, SC and Vera Short of Patrick, SC; and also, Thomas Holt, Deborah Holley of Ruby, SC and Beverly Vaughn. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
