It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Steele Trexler (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on May 23, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Julius Steele; her husband Clyde; her daughter Carolyn Taylor; and her siblings, Claude, Otho, Andrew, Blakney, Benjamin (BJ), Walter Thomas, Mamie Brock, Frances Hargett, Julia Beck and Rachel Steele.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Caroline Baker Steele; her daughters, Lorri Ann Lemmonds (Ken) of Wadesboro and Nancy Michele Taylor (Michael) of Indian Land; her grandson Larry Williams (Stephanie) of Wadesboro; her great grandchild Madilyn Williams; her son-in-law Larry Taylor of Wadesboro; and her brother-in-law Thomas "T. C.".
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Sandy Plains United Methodist Church, c/o James Phillips, 1591 Previtte Road, Morven, NC 28119.
