He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Lee and Mamie Ruth Kerns; and his children, Patrick Kerns, DeAngela Kerns and Tracy Thompson (William). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends.
