It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Mason (Clinton, South Carolina), born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Louis Mason and Mattie Mae Brown Mason; and his sister Alice Marie Boyce. He is survived by: his wife Mary Mason; his daughters, Nanette Moore (Flora Bethea) and Jessica Hill; his granddaughter Zariah Chappelle; his sister Edith Burwell (Elder Lawrence); and his brother-in-law George Boyce. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
