He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grant and Missie Grant. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Grant; his children, John Jr., Zipporia Jacobs (Jeffery), Eunivesta Grant, Phebbie Grant, April Rice, Brock Rice, Quenithia Grant Bush (Kenneth) and Sakiya Cunningham; and his siblings, James Grant, Tommy Grant and Mary Alice Hearst. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, relativies and friends.
