He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Berry Tinsley, Sr. and Annie Kelley Tinsley; and his brother Berry Tinsley. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Michael Tinsley (Chi) and Christy Tinsley; his sisters, Barbara Tinsley, Brenda Jones and Ferona Stubley; his grandchildren, Baylon Hunter (Addyson), Sean Miller and Athena Tinsley; and his great grandchild Bentley Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested memorials be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306.
