He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Garfield Goode and Emma Nanney Goode Smith. He is survived by: his wife Ann Carroll Goode; his children, Avery Goode, Jr. (Lu Coulter) and Althea Goode Huggins (Michael Huggins); his grandchildren, Drew (Samm), Madeline, Rachel (Taylor), Quincy, Jansen, Madison and Conrad; his great grandchild Remy; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Spencer, Casey and Ella Forrest; his siblings-in-law, Barbara, Bev and Jack; and his nieces and nephews, Bob (Bev), Jim B. (Sara), Michael (Lauren), Tommy (Lynne), Charles, Judy (Kelton), Terry (Fred), Linda (Lee), LeeAnn, Cheryl (Wade) and Lynn.
Due to Covid, the family will not have a formal visitation but will greet friends at the cemetery.
