With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Avery Whisenant Jr. of Clover, South Carolina, who passed away on April 3, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Deal Whisenant, Sr. and Ida Horton Whisenant. He is survived by: his sons, Dale S. Whisenant (Mary) of Boone, NC and Barry M. Whisenant (Kathy) of Tega Cay; his brother Richard Whisenant of Clover; and his brother-in-law Jerry Hoffman of Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
