He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meek and Sara Eunice Barry Adams; and his siblings, George Adams, Mary Merck and Sara Bolin.
He is survived by: his children, David William Adams (Sherry) of Clover, SC, Carl Derrick Adams (Mary) of Clover, SC, Mark Stephen Adams (Miriam) of Agua Prieta, Mexico, Gina Powell Bolin (Gerald) of Gastonia, NC and William Alvin Powell (Denny) of Lake Wylie, SC; his grandchildren, Zach, Stephen, Cindy, Anna Flor, Felicity, Nathan and Chloe; and his sisters, JoAnn Rockenstein (Richard) of Kingsport, TN and Susie Ferguson of Rock Hill, SC.. He is also survived by his wives, taught his children to love God and neighbor.
