He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Taylor Nicole Shook; and his brothers, Harold, Jimmy and Johnny Shook (Louise). He is survived by: his brother-in-law James Chambers; his wife Betty Chambers Shook; his children, Jane Jones (Mike), Robert Shook (Jeannie), Charles Shook and Angie James (Tony); and his grandchildren, Amber Sesnick (Steve), Chris Jones (Paige), Tiffany Ormand (Latt), Matthew James (Heather), C. J. Shook, Hunter Shook, Jimmy Shook, Bobby Joe Shook, Katie Dean and Andrew Shook.
