He is survived by: his sons, Daniel "Danny" Summitt, Sr. (Barbara) and Scott Summitt; his sister Virginia Samples; his sister-in-law Barbara Greene; and his grandchildren, Daniel Summitt, Jr., John Summitt, Matt Summitt, Aaron Summitt, C. J. Wallace, Kristen Summitt, Stephanie Summitt and Amanda Summitt. He is also survived by six great-grandsons; and four great-granddaughters.
