He was predeceased by: his son Randy B. McCarter. He is survived by: his wife Maxie Stewart McCarter; his son Floyd Donald McCarter, Jr.; his siblings, Annie Mae McDaniel, Mandy Mullis, Edna Watts, Andy McCarter (Joy) of Clover, SC, James McCarter (Betty Jo) of Clover, SC and Joe Lee McCarter of Clover, SC; and his grandchildren, Amber McCarter, Ciera McCarter, Daniel McCarter and Stephanie McCarter. He is also survived by two sisters, and three brothers.
