She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Summitt and Ruth Hazel Bradley Summitt; her son Barry D. Jones; and her sisters, Louise Lee and Sarah Heddon.
She is survived by: her sons, Daren E. Jones (Cynthia) of Lake Wylie, SC and Larry D. Jones (Wanda) of Clover, SC; her siblings, Virginia Samples and David Summitt; and her niece Teresa Cable. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
