She is survived by: her children, Joseph Layton Jr, Andrew Layton, Cathy Rich and Jennifer Stone; her grandchildren, Erica, Cody, Logan, Gabrielle, Nicholas and Helen; her great grandchildren, Aria and Gigi; her siblings, Gary Hurley and Constance Haines-Hurley; her friends, Arlene, Harold and Brazil; and her siblings-in-law, Lucy Dugan, Russell Layton, Raymond and Mary Layton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
