He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louise Ernestine Brice of Gastonia, NC and Joshua Brice; his wife Valerie Mason Brice; his stepson Julius Mason of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Rickey Brice (Linda), Albert Brice of Charlotte, NC, James Brice of Savannah, GA, Melvin Wayne Brice of Union, VA, Steven Brice and Renee Brice of Gastonia, NC; his stepgrandson Julius "Deuce" Mason II; his parents-in-law, Joe S. Mason, Sr. and Willie Mae James (Steve); his siblings-in-law, Joe S. Mason, Jr. and Pamela Mason of Charlotte, NC; his godparents, Leo and Clara Porter of Gastonia, NC; and his siblings' children, Antwon Brice (Quamisha) of Charlotte, NC and Taylor Brice of Charlotte, NC. He was also cherished by brothers and sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Minister Brice was preparing for the final step of ordination through the Sandy River Baptist Association (Upper Division) to become a licensed Reverend.
