He was predeceased by: his parents, James Deaver and Eunice Viola Smith Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Husky Nichols; his children, Sue Taylor (Tim) of Clover, SC, Ann Nichols of Clover, SC and Donnie R. Nichols (Cissy) of Lake Wylie, SC; his siblings, Betty Erwin (Bill) of Clover, SC, Lois Nichols of York, SC and Jerry Nichols (Donna) of Clover, SC; his grandchildren, Rusty Badger, Dustin Nichols, Josh Ray and Curtis Bowles; his great grandchild Jadis Ray; his stepdaughters, Lynn Franklin (Dwight) and Kathy Engle (Jonathan); and his pet Shadow.
Due to Covid, the family will not have a formal visitation, but family and friends may stop by M. L. Ford & Sons, Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 12:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. to pay their respects.
