He is survived by: his wife Carole Ann Pitzer Polk; his daughters, Mary Ruth Barnwell of Clover, SC and Rhonda Elaine Polk of Clover, SC; and his siblings, Ruth Joye Valentine and Garry Diven Polk. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
