He is survived by: his wife Jenny Riddle Richards; his children, Robert Cunningham Richards, Jr. (Kimberly) of Clover, SC and Amity Richards Buckner (Michael) of Clemson, SC; and his grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Buckner, John Daniel Buckner and Caroline Catherine Richards.
