He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolphus Sidney and Lela Pearl Shuford; and his siblings, Floyd Shuford (Dot), Thurmond Shuford (Von), Kenneth Shuford (Jan), Faye Farris (John), Ruth Benfield (Bill) and Bobbie Duncan (Tommy).
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Shuford; his sons, Roger Shuford (Patricia) and Ray Shuford (Penny); his grandchildren, Scott Shuford, Jessica Gwinn (Justin), Jordan Cantrell, Caleb Shuford (Nikki) and Dalton Shuford (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Sadie, Hydee, Bethany, Weston and Dakota; and his sisters, Polly Thompson (Vernon) and Toni Lemmons (Guy).
