She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maxine Chastine Harkey and Fred Lee Melton; her husband John Davidson; her daughters, Lisa Farris of High Shoals and Julie Davidson of Gastonia; her siblings, Joe Melton of Gastonia, Eddie Melton of Dallas, Linda Melton Graves of Gastonia and Cathy Faulk of Whitesville, NC; and her grandchildren, Hailey Farris, Zoe Farris, Savanna Dawson and Estella Dawson. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
