She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Sidney Davis, Sr. and Carrie Delilah Holcomb Davis; her husband James B. Scoggins; her grandson Joshua Abbott; and her siblings, Joe Davis, Jr., Louise Arrington, Martha Mixon and Billy Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Sidney Scoggins, Cecil Scoggins (Cathy) and Beth Lesesne (George); her grandchildren, Marcus Killian Abbott and Stephanie Padgett; her great grandchildren, Matthew Abbott, Jacob Abbott, Carson Padgett, Walker Padgett, Levi Padgett and Lainey Padgett (Due); her sister Mary Frances Abernathy; her sister-in-law Phyllis Davis; and her granddaughter Suzanne Montgomery. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
