In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carlita had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Carlita may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Brooks and Frank Lorne Gregory; her husband Leon Horton; her children, L. A. Horton and Jenny Wilds; and her grandsons, Patrick Rich and Travis Horton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie McAlister (Keith), Jane Horton, Lianne Watford (Bill) and Tammy Tremblay (Gary).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel (609 Northwood Rd, Lexington, SC 29072).
