It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Martin of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Matthews and Betty Jane Thomas Matthews; her husband William Osler Martin; and her siblings, Marydale Taylor, Alma Matthews, Patricia Hester, Luther Matthews and Charlie Matthews.
She is survived by : her children, Judy (Dennis Johnson), Linda (Karl Gant), Donna (Edward Steve Patterson) and William "Bill" Martin of Columbia, SC; and her grandchildren, Allen (Hope Noah), Caryann (Kevin Williams), Eric (Angela Gant), Angela (Josh Scholl), Brian Gant of Lake Park, GA, Charles Gant of Macon, GA and Crystal Torres of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
