She is survived by: her children, Dana Michelle Ashford, Dexter Marc Ashford and SaMaria Ashford Hughes (Ronald); her grandchildren, Jereme Emmanuel Ashford, Mekhi Ashford Hughes, Mia Taylor Hughes and Carrie Michelle Ashford; her sisters, Beverly Ashford and Sonya Ashford; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Ashford and Ola Ashford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
