He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Catherine Melton and Millon W. Melton; and his brother Ernest Frank Woodson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Melton; his brother Charles E. Melton; his sisters-in-law, Ellen Melton and Annett Parrot; and his cousins, Shirley Lucas and Ada Smith. He is also survived by other cousins and special friends.
