She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. James G. and Mary A. Whipple. She is survived by: her sister Darlene S. Whipple of Columbia; and her daughters, Donna Taylor of Columbia, Jerri McGuire of Columbia and Michele Morrison (Chris) of Lexington. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
