It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennie Stockman Sharpe (Columbia, South Carolina), who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Franklin "Sook" Stockman and Ruth Ray Stockman; her husband Joe; her sister Elsie Stockman; and her siblings-in-law, Tommy McCallum, Fred Sharpe and Eileen Sharpe.

She is survived by: her children, Becky Brooks (John), Kellie Ballentine (Dennis) and Joey Sharpe (Suzie); her grandchildren, JJ Brooks (Jamil Ghores), Blaire Howell (Louis), Walter Ballentine, Mary Kathryn Ballentine, Jes Sharpe, Hoffman Sharpe and Monty Sharpe; her great grandchildren, Peyton Howell and Brooks Howell; her siblings, Herman Stockman (Jan), Pete Hornsby (Teddy), Debbie Porter (Ed Davis) and Polly McCallum; and her siblings-in-law, Dr. John Sharpe, Larry Sharpe Sr., Heyward Sharpe (Marianne) and Monique Sharpe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
