It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Charles Hunnicutt (Columbia, South Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Richard L. Hunnicutt. He is survived by: his mother Patricia F. Hunnicutt (William); his sisters, Rebekah Burger (Gary) and Elizabeth Christopher (Steven); his siblings' children, Ward Burger, Luke Christopher, Benjamin Burger, Solomon Christopher, Rachel Layton (Jacob), Corrina Salter (Ty) and Sydney Christopher; his stepdaughters, Kassidy Hart and Kaylee Pawling; and his stepgrandchildren, Victor Hart and Lucille Hart. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shandon United Methodist Church (3407 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
