With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret (Peggy) Morgan Tarr of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret McLeod Morgan and John William Morgan, Jr.; and her nephew Jay Morgan. She is survived by: her sons, David Bennett Tarr (Brittany), John Daniel Tarr (Darcy) and William McLeod Tarr (Rae-Ann); her grandchildren, William Bennett Tarr, Mason William Tarr, Owen Edward Tarr, Isabel Morgan Tarr and Madolyn Margaret Tarr; her brother John William Morgan, III (Corinne); and her nephews, Thomas Morgan, Robert Morgan and Harold Tarr. She is also survived by the father of her children; and many lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shandon United Methodist Church, 3407 Devine Street, Columbia, SC, 29205 or to Camp Cole, Post Office Box 6377, Columbia, SC 29260.
