She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jesse Lee and Hattie Dinkins Lee; her husband Carl "Pete" Shelton, Sr.; her daughter Diane Shelton; and her brothers, Langford Lee, Ottis Lee, Stuart Lee, Louis Lee, Carlisle Lee and McGee Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Carl, Jack Shelton, Agnes Dial of Columbia and Wendy Bass of Columbia; her grandchildren, Michael, Jason Shelton, Heather Branham, Kayla Schneider, Tyler Bass, Timmy Dial, Joey and Ashley Shelton; and her siblings, Otis Lee and Joann Eargle. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel (7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia, SC 29223). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
