It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Niaetta Lea Manthei of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Nathan Muriel Smith; and her son-in-law Brennon Shoen. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Sue Smith (Tackett) of Martin, TN.; her daughters, Olivia Jones (Trevor) of Savannah, Victoria Shoen of Kalamazoo and Alaina Manthei of Savannah, Georgia; her boyfriend Andres Salcedo; her sisters, Sadonna Smith of Martin and Ritha Howell (Allen) of Albion Mi; her grandchildren, Caleb Thompson, Jazlyn Manthei, Jada Bowen, James Tisby, Milo Mansberger, Janae Tisby, JeVonna Jones and Jade Manthei; her siblings' children, Jason Howell (Sunshine), Lindsay Miller (Duncan), Amy Howell (Sergio), Kalinda Vogel (Kirk), Nathaniel Miller (Sierra), Hannah Howell, Hailee London, Maxx Howell (Han) and Jared Howell; and her former husband Donald Manthei. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
