It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Earl Huffstetler of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Chapin, South Carolina, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rayford and Ella Rose Shealy; his siblings, Ray (William R.), Bill (William H.), Don and Eleanor; and his friend Guy Ferguson.

He is survived by: his sibling's children, Tina Harrison (Jim) and Bill Huffstetler (Phyllis); and his close friends, Molly and Buster. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
