He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Norman Hardin, Sr. and Rebecca Eva Allen Hardin; his wife Betty Jean Hardin; and his daughter Connie Darlene Carter. He is survived by: his son Michael Dean Hardin (Taffy). He is also survived by his three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
