She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Hampton and Julia Bell Mack; and her daughters, Deborah Regina Brown-Baskett, Geneva Brown and Jeanette Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Margaret Means, Charles Brown, Jr., Betty Shelton and Juanita Lloyd Stanton; and her sister Earnestine Garvin. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grands, cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends.
